MiniDV TapeWell I just finished my 5th listing video,  I forgot that I made one back last fall so officially I have 5.  I  did shoot video of a house I sold.  My clients were from out of state and they were getting on the plane the day after we wrote the offer.  I wanted them to have something they could show family and friends at home, so I used Youtube to carry the message.

While I feel Like Lewis and Clark in the Simi Valley Real Estate Video genre.  Being the only agent in a 700 member Multiple Listing Service  that offers this feature to clients can be a big advantage.

Today was a great day for those of us addicted to this medium.  Dustin Luther's 4realz.net roundtable discussion was all about Marketing Real Estate with Video.  You can listen to the show here: 4realz Roundtable: Marketing Real Estate with  This is a must hear conference call if you are considering Video as part of your listing package.  If you click on the Youtube link above, that links to my Youtube channel and you can see many of my Video Blog posts along with listing video, that I have done over the last few months.

Thanks for sharing Ted. I have been doing visual tours since 2003 - the only company for miles and miles that offer this powerful tool. I am now shopping for a flip video and can't wait to add more tricks to my listing package.

Debbie,  If you already have a Digital Video camera that can download to your computer, you don't have to buy the flip.  If you get the Flip watch your panning speed and keep it slow.  It's a great little camera, you just have to learn a few tricks.

Greetings from Virginia Beach fellow KW agent!

Wow, this is so neat, not sure who is offering it here but I'm sure going to look into it. I have a video camera but it's not digital.  Is there anyway I can use it and convert inexpensively and easily?  I feel like such a dinosaur...

Ted - I do have a very nice digital (Sony) that puts my photos on CD. I can do videos, however, it's rather large and a little bulky. I was looking for something a little smaller, that I can carry around in my purse for those impromptu moments.

I'll be watching your blog for a few more flip video tricks!

Debbie, The Flip will be very good for what you describe.  When I do community pieces I like the digial tape and the better sound quality the microphone picks up.
