As I'm sure all of you can relate, my day starts early, at about 6am - first, coffee, a little CNN, newspaper, checking email and Active Raining.
The day progresses...I get my little one up, deal with comes with a 2 year old's world, usher her off to the sitter and proceed to what we all love to do - business.
So I previewed property for a relocating client, scour neighborhoods looking for FSBO's and return to my home ofice to do some prospecting, followup calls and miscellaneous other duties. By this time its 4:30 pm and I am POOPED! Don't get too relaxed, time to put on dinner and pickup the little one. It's 10:00pm, the house is quiet and I'm blogging....
Tomorrow - do it all again.
Long story short, don't forget to show yourself some loyalty and time! After taking stock of my hectic day, here is what I aspire to do more of:
Trade the coffee in for more water. Clearer skin and more energy is right around the corner!
Take up yoga, tai chi or meditation - Great way to power down and relieve stress.
Take a nice walk or bike ride with the family. Great way to sneak a little exercise into your day while spending time with those who I love the most.
Incorporate volunteering into my week - Giving back is good for the soul.
It's so easy to get wrapped up in the day to day and forget about what's important - good physical, mental and spiritual health. Hey, it's good for your health, makes you more productive and ultimatly good for business!
