No Time for BS...Unless it's Buyers and Sellers!
At the first of every new year, lofty resolutions are set that will never be met. I prefer to use true, common sense, doing what has brought success year after year. Tried and true methods are always at the forefront.
Qualification from a reputable lender is necessary to begin, remaining within the set budget plays a huge part in buyer success. Drama-free meetings with good communication between parties is essential.
Buyers must be sincere and serious in their efforts when looking at homes that fulfill their Wants and Needs List. I refuse to ride the merry-go-round, going in circles because someone becomes unrealistic.
This industry is not an amusement park.
Setting expectations up front is extremely important and then getting everything in writing creates a healthier, business relationship. Less problems down the road when asking for a changes in the listing agreement.
As an experienced agent, I am able to see through a ruse, where a seller wants all the benefits of excellent marketing and advertising but clearly lacks any motivation or cooperation to get the property sold.
I will walk away from that. And recently did.
