The last couple of dusk's and dawns have been fantastic for viewing the Full Moon from Minot ND. We have been able to enjoy it right on the Eastern Horizon at dawn as well as on the Western horizon in the morning. It is so perfectly placed that it is the first thing I've seen the last two days when I open the bedroom shades.
See it straight above the left corner of Historic Corbett Field's grandstand. Just like God knocked it right outa the ballpark.
As you can see from the top picture the moon seemed a whole lot closer then the one with the ball park. Can any photography professional explain to me why that is?
