The last couple of dusk's and dawns have been fantastic for viewing the Full Moon from Minot ND. We have been able to enjoy it right on the Eastern Horizon at dawn as well as on the Western horizon in the morning. It is so perfectly placed that it  is the first thing I've seen the last two days when I open the bedroom shades.

See it straight above the left corner of Historic Corbett Field's grandstand. Just like God knocked it right outa the ballpark.

As you can see from the top picture the moon seemed a whole lot closer then the one with the ball park. Can any photography professional explain to me why that is?

The moon here in CT was big but not as large as the one you show. Must be too many lights in our area.

I did use my best camera Endre Barath, Jr. but by professional standards it would only be considered a starter camera. Had I used a tripod it would have been better.

Thank you Brian England . I enjoy taking pictures of the moon and it was warm enough that my hands didn't freeze (about 20 degrees Fahrenheit).

Those clouds must have been brought on by yesterdays football game Wayne Martin . I hope the Vikings don't waste this opportunity. If we get to and win the Superbowl at least Chicago can say it took the best to beat them.
