Mid-Appalachian Quilters Annual Retreat

Many of you know that I am a quilter and every year I attend several retreats, some with my Baltimore Heritage Quilters and this retreat.  I also sit on the board for Mid Appalachian Quilters.  

This retreat is in July, registration, and check-in is on July 13 and classes start on the 14th and run through Sunday, July 16.  The retreat is held at Gettysburg College and accommodations are in the dorms on campus. 

There are a variety of classes ranging from beginner to advanced, fabric dying, applique, hand and machine piecing, and much more.  The website has been updated and the list of classes and instructors and the schedule are now available for 2023.  Registration doesn't start until March 4.  

Over the 3 1/2 days, there will be classes, lectures, a block lottery, door prizes and friendships to be made, and relationships to be built.  This is a great opportunity to be in a fun environment to develop your hobby and your quilting skills.  The pictures here are examples of classes I've taken and the fish quilt was a block lottery I won.
