Living full time at the Lake of the Ozarks

By
Real Estate Agent with Candice Silverthorn, Realtor, RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks

It's fun! Except when you live down a steep road and a steep driveway! We had 5-6 inches of wet, heavy snow this morning from a thunder snow storm. Made for a messy drive for commuters. Praying everyone was ok. Going from 65 degrees yesterday watching the bass boats at Coffman Beach, and working on the dock, to this. Spring can come anytime! I postponed my appointment, but made it this morning.  Candice Silverthorn, Realtor, RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks, Osage Beach, MO 309-370-2634 Call or text

Take great care when you must be out and about during winter weather conditions.

We are thankful that we have a bit of rain in our area rather than snow.

Thank you! Yes some of these roads are crazy in the snow. Since it was so slushy you couldn't get any traction.

Do you get a lot of snow in Gaithersburg?

We use to have a home on the lake in Sunrise Beach when I was growing up. Great memories of such a beautiful area. I can imagine those winding back roads are a bit treacherous in the snow. Stay safe!

Candice Silverthorn - I am a Midwest girl and know Chicago snow and blizzards well. Be safe. People in the Midwest know how to survive and they are always willing to help out with stalled vehicles on snowy roads - that's what I remember most.
