Hello Paul - I am going to need a bit more time to think about this quote beyond my initial thoughts.  And often that can have better results.  Thinking thoroughly versus quickly.  Or something like that.

I've never quite thought of it this way. I guess what Coelho is saying is our destiny is the journey to our fate. The road to our ultimate fate is based on our choices along the way.
