Hello Paul - I believe any learning experience is potentially joyful.  Sometimes it happens for the teacher as well as the student.   Is that magic, some kind of serendipity or is that part of the process?

A wonderful quote that was the reason many teachers went into the field. Unfortunately an agenda is now being pushed in the scope of a teachers work causing that learning experience to dim.

Hi Paul- I love this quote!! To help a child experience the joy of learning has to be a treasured benefit of teaching. Sadly many teachers are saddled with paperwork and other non-teaching related tasks. 

That quote reminds me of my 4th grade teacher when I was in school, Paul.  She was a genius at awakening curiosity.

Hi Paul, 

Our younger generation needs all the nurturing they can get.  Besides the family, teachers are the most critical asset to the survival of our nation.  The only thing on the ballot for this November in our county is whether we should allow the budget for the School District to be raised by 15% or stick to the pre-assigned budget.   Our teachers are the most underpaid in the country.
