How about improving my listings with the right "Key Words" to put into the MLS and also that the Google Spiders will find to have thousands of buyers zoom right in on my masterful listings.

Need to learn more about Real Estate terminology? Even I do as a professional real estate agent.

A little 'Real Estate Humor' is good now and then." How would YOU describe THIS listing as shown in the video?

Real Estate Description as In Real Estate Marketing 101

I don't know about you but this agent's descriptions were masterful and I believe all 100% accurate that truly makes this listing sound enticing, unless you are "WATCHING" what the agent is SAYING with his "Key Words" as he describes the listing.

How about the features described in the video such as:

1. Multi colored appliances

2. Natural growth roof

3. Energy efficient clothes dryer

4. Reach in closet

5. Wood Like paneling

...and more!

Well it is time for me to get into my dictionary and find the key words that will make me a success in 2023...just saying. 😀

LOLZ! 
I was SO ANNOYED by an agent who described a home as having 'lovely concrete flooring' (many homes in our area have stamped color concrete floors that are very nice!) and when we visited the home it had CARPETS RIPPED UP revealing cracked concrete foundation. 

Wasted a showing by lying.

Now THAT video is tongue in cheek honest! 
Value's in the land . . . LOL

Hi Jeff Masich-Scottsdale AZ Associate Broker,MBA,GRI - That was classic!  I thought I heard "updated" bathroom.  I am thinking that bathroom was updated during the Kennedy Presidency...or maybe earlier. They could have used a "natural patina" for some of the walls or exterior.

Ha ha, key words are important but often stretch the truth!  Related, I often see "walking distance " in MLS copy, and I thought that was a phrase agents were not supposed to use?

Righto Sheri Sperry - MCNE® on the "updated bathroom". In this case I think the Realtor was conveying the bathroom had been updated from the "outhouse or latrine". It did have a toilet. Jeff 😀

Yes Laura Cerrano with some homes it can be extremely difficult to come up with key words that will entice a buyer, especially with this home unless one is really into wood like paneling and natural growth roofs. Jeff

Yes Mary Hutchison, SRES, ABR not only do the key words need to describe the home but in the case of real estate rulings on a equal huse class a term like "walking distance" I assume may be a no no. Instead of using walking distance there is an apparent preference to say something like within 1/4 mile. Also even using the word family can be frowned upon. In this video is the statement"...And Wait there is more, a mother in law quarters so the whole family can be together". Jeff  😀

Would you roll up your sleeves and tackle or ask me for a match, the name of someone with an excavator for the complete tear down? Oh my gosh, what a great video, Jeff! HILARIOUS but, sadly, true that some agents use those same keywords but, boy, a buyer simply MUST lay eyes on the property or they'll have the shock of their lives!
