If you have read any of my posts, you probably know - I work, so I can TRAVEL!
So, with all my adventures over the years, I have picked up maps and some pamphlets from areas of interest, which I keep in folders labeled for the State. Some folders are larger than others - like California, which I have been to many times, as it does take a while to see the whole state. I had to create some new folders with some of my past trips - North & South Carolina, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and some Canadian provinces.
I actually had to make another box that was larger with the additions. It probably is time to sift through some of the folders, and eliminate some duplications.
It sure is nice to take a trip (like to Tucson), and pull out the maps I would need along the routes. (I do have GPS, but truly enjoy watching the map to see the progress along the way.)
I even made an itinerary folder, with where I stayed, as others have asked where I stayed and if they were good. Some places I want to return to, like Sedona, and the resort I stayed at was nice. Plus, I do so much research before I leave, why go through all that again?
As I shred all the real estate files from the early 2000's, these files of traveling are MUCH more exciting!
