Yes Joe, why would anyone steal your toilet paper?

At least Titus had a good reason and the toilet paper stayed in your own house.

It's hard to believe but stealing toilet paper is a real thing. In the office building I am you can not remove a roll until it's empty and the cleaning crew only leave one extra roll because of theft. How sad is that?

One of the stupidest acts of theft I have witnessed was at a bar when a young man (21 I'm sure) came out of the restroom, near the pool table I was running, with one of those giant rolls under his shirt... like no one would notice that. BTW, what a sure way to impress the ladies 🤪.

Actually Sham Reddy CRS this incident was over 30 years ago. I have not been a pool shark for a long, long time.

Wayne Martin you nailed it with the lack of law enforcement. When I was young a man caught with a bag of pot got ten years... now I see judges giving people with heroin with 3 days (time served).

Wow, how uncool would that be Nina Hollander, Broker . I can not imagine a guest in my home stealing my TP. Then again it's probably been 40 years since I had a BIG party.

It's pretty laughable Dorie Dillard Austin TX and as faye schubert pointed out, if they can aford to drink they can afford to purchase their own TP.

Ever since the COVID shortage of Toilet Paper , I pick a 30 pack at Costco monthly . Every time our Daughter visits , she leaves with a six pack of rolls ( from our stash )

People are something else, aren't they? 

It would have to be an extreme emergency for me to use a public toilet.  But (pun intended) if I did, I carry my own supplies to take care of business.

You are a wise woman Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist . I too hate public bathrooms, especially at restaurants. Nothing can ruin my apatite worse then a dirty/stinky bathroom.

One time at a restaurant a cook/chef came in, pissed like a race house (with splatter) and left without washing his hands... I have not been back in 20+ years.

BTW I really appreciate Mr. Crappy's approval. Thanks! 🙃

Never say never is right Lise Howe . If we ever have another TP shortage it could happen. I'm thinking ALL of these shortages are planned out just so they can raise prices... speaking of... how about those egg prices?

Bob, it actually is a fairly serious problem.  My son, a real estate owner-broker manages the office building where he has his Real Estate Office.  In discussions he has told us he would like to stock toilet paper in all the bathrooms, however, it just goes missing/stolen.  Therefore, extra steps daily to keep it sufficiently stocked.
