Book Festival High School Poetry Contest Reminder

 

Calling all young poets! Submissions are being accepted for the Gaithersburg Book Festival Annual High School Poetry Contest. Students are asked to craft a poem on one of two topics: diversity or inclusion. Winners will be announced during the 2023 Gaithersburg Book Festival on May 20 at Bohrer Park. Poems may be submitted online here by midnight on February 23. Complete details here.

I hope many will participate and have fun doing so!  I remember in 4th grade we had to write a book of poems, that's probably the last time I have written a poem though, haha.
