Wordless Wednesday: Jill is admiring the painting...

When we lived in Boston, MA Diane and I both saw this painting and loved it. I will not tell you that we got it for a song.... but it was all about both liking it. Friends and visitors always made favorable comments about it.

That's adorable, Endre. The only admiring that goes on with pets in my house is our Bingo standing in front of my cheval mirror every morning and admiring himself (or maybe he's just checking that he's still here).

Hello Endre - although it really looks nothing like the subject, your painting reminds me of the latest animated movie version of Pinocchio I recently saw.  I often wonder what cats (and other furry folks) are thinking when they stare in an admiring way.

Sort of amazing what our friendly and loving dogs and cats focus on or what attracts their attention.  Jill seems very concentrated on the painting.  We have a friendly Yorkshire Terrier who loves and is mesmerized watching the TV Videos of LASSIE.  And if we even whistle or hum the Lassie melody, she runs to the Family Room to check out the TV screen.
