Secret Marketing Strategies in a Changing Market
What are my marketing strategies for this year's challenging market in Real Estate Industry?
- Stay Positive
- Smile it is easier than frowning
- Be enthusiastic and passionate
- Be honest
- Consistansisy and self-disciplined
- Take seminars never too smart to learn
- Make a presence on Social Media
These are steps that I have always taken. It is important not to fall into a negative mindset. Even in a changing Real Estate Market the basics still work in my humble opinion. There are no secrets to success just communication and perseverance
- Keep the public informed about the market.
- Keep in touch with your clients by email, phone, and or social media
Write personal notes to past clients to let them know you are thinking of them
Send out just-sold and just-listed cards. People want to know the value of their homes. You will be surprised how many times people will save this card and call you when they are ready to sell their home.
Writing market reports on developments is something the public finds useful in determining where they may want to live. It is also helpful in knowing the values when they may be relocating to a new area or want to sell their property. If they do want to locate to these areas they will most likely contact you for more information.
Write a blog telling people about the local information in your area. Perhaps a new restaurant has just opened up in the neighborhood. Give a review. Write about the service and how you liked the food. People will be interested.
Keep people informed about local events and places. If you are computer savvy do videos of your area. If you are not learning how to do videos, you should start. People want to see what neighborhoods look like. Try it you do not have to be a professional. People may enjoy a fun view and get to know the real you in the process. Just do your best and learn as you go.
One other important suggestion is to answer your phone with a smile. When I first started Real Estate an instructor said to keep a mirror near me so when I answered the phone I smiled as it can be heard on the other end. By the way, do you know how many agents do not answer their phones?
