This Week…Reminders

Good morning Kathy. If you can't do it in person, then do it on the phone. Could not agree more. It has been a bad week for losing friends. Enjoy your day.

I had so hoped to meet Grant Schneider but I guess I will meet him in Heaven.  There have been quite a few people passing away recently that I will miss greatly.

With all that has happened, it is a nice reminder to pick up the phone and  make that call!

"I have been reminded this week to pick up the phone more often than I do…to make it a point to have lunch or dinner more often with our friends…to let those people know how much they mean to me."

Life is precious and things happen that we are not prepared for. I was so sad to hear of Grant's passing, I had no idea he was so ill. You are right picking up the phone and staying in touch with those that mean a great deal to you is important.

Thank you for this post and yes losing friends is always difficult and sad. Picking up the phone is easier. So sad about Grant, a gentle soul left this world to join other gentle souls.

Yes, picking up the phone to talk to friends, being there for them in person - don't wait!

Kathy, it is a reminder life is too short, and we all need to pick up the phone, make a call!

Kathy it has been that kind of week ending with the news about Grants passing. 2 other friends passed this past year.  It is so important to pick up the phone, meet a friend for lunch, have them over for dinner etc etc.  We have been doing so much more of this this past year. And plan to continue doing so from now on.  Life is to be enjoyed and shared.

I recently spoke to a very close friend.  He has been battling cancer for a year and will always be on some form of treatment going forward.  I did not even know.  I do have to pick up the phone more often.  I continue to believe that the world will continue on without change.  It does not. 😟

Our life is fragile... It is always an excellent reminder to stay in touch.  Pick up that phone. Reach out and call someone!  

If there is one thing I do, I stay in touch with friends, clients, and family.  If they live in Sedona, I want to meet them for lunch or dinner.  If not, I will make more than one call on the weekend.  One of our neighbors just lost her 99-year-old husband right before Christmas.  We usually have this couple over for Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner.  Unfortunately, this did not happen because of his declining health.  

Kathy we cannot control many things in our life, all can do is use the time we have wisely.  The passing of Grant was a shock.  He seem full of life.

Hello Kathy Streib thank you for sharing this week reminder. I am very saddened losing Grant Schneider, and this week I lost a sister had cancer problems.
