Furry Friends Friday - Prim & Proper Gracie Rose

While she may appear to be snooty, she's quite the sweetie! She reminds me of my great-grandmother, who I remember very well. She was statuesque, very prim & proper but, 'behind closed doors,' she had a heart of gold and was one of the sweetest women I've ever known. 

Our sweet Gracie is cuddly - mostly when she wants to be. She certainly portrays the ruling kitty with a tough exterior & cold heart...until you call her name. Then she melts!

It's crazy how they look so much differently than they really are, Endre Barath, Jr.! I love my sweet Gracie and always laugh when I see her give the 'cool' pose, knowing how she really is in her heart!!

I love that she reminds you of your great-grandmother.  It's good to have memories of those we loved so much that are no longer with us.  Also, such a cool group that Cathy Criado created in the Rain!  I post to it as well, although I do it on Thursdays rather than when I am supposed to on Fridays, haha.

My goodness what a statuesque pose! She does carry an air about her but she is so beautiful she probably needs to protect herself some of the time. But Gracie is cuddly with her "peeps" and that is a gift.

So sweet, Debe. My Gracie was a dog I adopted out of an abusive situation. She was the sweetest. To this day, I believe all cats and dogs named Gracie are sweet.

Our Gracie was an adoptee too, Nina Hollander, Broker and our son also had a Gracie that was so special as well. His was much more senior than ours and no longer with us but, she was so darned sweet too. I think you may be right about all Gracies!

She really is and we are so blessed to have 3 with different but, sweet personalities. One of my BFFs was just here this evening and shared with me that her daughter had adopted a 'mean' kitty that she's trying her best to tame! I know her daughter well and I have to say, I am confident she'll be successful at it, Myrl Jeffcoat!

HaHa! She's got her ID tag, her County tag and, of course, her stylish collar that the other kitties have shredded, playing with each other! They often lose their collars so, we are thankful they have break-away collars, George Souto.
