On January 31, 2023, The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced that the U.S. house price down 0.1% in November of 2022 from October of 2022, but higher 8.2% from November of 2021 based on home sales values obtained from mortgages sold to or guaranteed by FNMA and Freddie Mac.
Nationwide, among nine census West North Central Division was highest with an increase of 0.5%, and Pacific Division was lowest with a loss of 1.1% in November of 2022 from October 0f 2022; while South Atlantic Division was the highest with jump of 12.0%, and Pacific Division was the lowest with an increase of 2.4% in November of 2022, from November of 2021.
