In today's digital age, second only to working your sphere religiously, having a strong online presence is the next most crucial marketing practice for real estate agents. As I’m sure you are aware, a recent study found that 92% of home buyers use the internet to find their next home, making an online presence essential for attracting and engaging potential clients.
Here are the key components of a strong online presence for real estate agents:

Professional Website: A well-designed website that showcases your listings, features testimonials from past clients, and provides valuable information about the real estate market in your area. Make sure your website is optimized for search engines and mobile devices. I recently had mine revised after an impressive ActiveRain ZOOM call presentation. Active Social Media Accounts: Utilize platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram to connect with potential clients, showcase your listings and share industry news and tips. Regularly post high-quality content and interact with your followers to build your online community.
- Optimized Google My Business Listing: Claim and optimize your Google My Business listing to ensure that your business information appears correctly in Google's search results. This includes your business hours, contact information and reviews from past clients.
By having a strong online presence, we can reach and engage a wider audience, build our brand and ultimately increase our chances of success in this competitive real estate industry.
