Pickleball has been taking the country by storm.  There are some amazing players out there doing amazing things.  I thought you might want to see some of the best of the best hitting incredible shots.  You will see incredible speed, great misdirection shots, between the legs shots, around the post shots and so much more.  This video is just over 30 minutes long so you might not want to watch it all, but you do not want to miss the shot of the year.  I have played and watched hours and hours of pickleball and have NEVER seen anything like it.  If you watch nothing else in the video, fast forward to it.  The shot was simply amazing! What the heck?  Watch the whole thing! Enjoy!

WOW! If I was younger I would play pickleball for sure! The video is GREAT! Thanks for introducing all of us to Pickleball here on ActiveRain! I can understand why you enjoy it and others too!

I love that you were introduced to the game by your dad. Has your son picked up an interest? It would be fun to see the 3 of you plus one more play Pickleball and show us via a video.

It is never too late to start pickleball.  My dad is 78 and was playing all the time until Valley Fever afflicted him.  We are hoping to have him back out on the courts once he gets done with his rehab.  One of my sons likes pickleball.  It would be fun to have all four of us out there.  Stranger things have happened.

Hi Kathy Streib!  When I saw how good, Brian England, was on the tennis court, I figured it would be a tough sell.  He plays at a very high level.  Brian watched me play in a tournament and he had some great pointers for me on the pickleball court.  When and if he ever decides to play pickleball, he will be very good.  We can't rush him, though.  We don't want to scare him off!  😃

I hope you get a chance to play.  It is probably best to wait for the snow to melt, though.  My partner has been getting ready for our tournament this week by practicing on the courts in Boise, Idaho.  It has been a real challenge since there is snow on much of the court.

Ray Henson I just don't know... I think about Mah Jong and I think of old ladies... and that's not me. In NY City where I grew up it was an old lady game. I suppose times have changed.

Good morning, Roy Kelley.  It is amazing how quickly pickleball has become mainstream.  The only thing that I can remember (sports wise) that took off anything like this was racquetball, but even its rise was not as impressive.

I do like playing pickle ball however my artificial knees don’t seem to reverse as well as I would like and I often meet the court surface. My grandkids enjoy the show 🙂

 Good morning, Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS.  I have a few marks on my knees from meeting the court surface.  I may dive every once in awhile.  It is definitely not recommended.
