🤩Happy Friday! Things have resumed back to normal or at least better in Flower Mound, TX than it started on Monday! I finally got mail delivered today. I did not receive any cards, letters from friends or family, or money either. The two advertiser magazines that were delivered are headed for the dump (whenever the Garbage Services resume). Whew! Texans are glad the severe winter weather is over! Not a single snow flake was added to the deep snow since the last time I posted about the terrible weather we had that caused everything to shut down. My snow shovels are down from the attic but have not been used since I left Illinois in March 1997.
Did you know that today, February 3 is NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY? Go red for Women is the American Heart Association's national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women. I spoke to my sister last night. A few months ago she suffered a Heart Attack. She is the first female in our family to have a heart attack. My niece is doing a great job taking care of her and gave her the best medicine of all - A PUPPY! My sister is doing much better and very happy with her sidekick who never leaves her side except when my niece and her husband come home from work. Then he barks and makes a big production to let my sister know someone came through the door!
Do you remember Stephen Hawkins? He said something very profound and meaningful: "One of the basic rules of the universe is that nothing is perfect. Perfection simply doesn't exist.... Without imperfection, neither you nor I would exist." Therefore, on that note, I am wishing you all a very IMPERFECT weekend!
😀😂🥳😅😍🤠🤩
