I don't know why this dog getting up on the back of the furniture surprises me - I mean, she does live with 3 sibling felines! When in Rome, right?! The kitties have taught sweet Madelaine 'furniture dominance!!'

Our older dog, Barney, never has even gotten on the furniture so, it just seemed odd to us, Jeff Masich-Scottsdale AZ Associate Broker,MBA,GRI!

That may just be it and her favorite sibling is Jack (the boy cat). They are hysterical together!

She is definitely the Alpha pet in the house - he has dethroned Emma, the older kitty. She doesn't know what on earth to do, Wayne Martin!

Oh, it's hilarious, Lise Howe! We've had two other dogs (one of them is still with us) who these cats have lived with. Neither of them EVER got on the furniture, muchless climbing up on the back of the furniture! The cats act like they are living with an alien now! LOL

That is so funny, Debe. I only have a pair of cats that live with me now. But, when I had a dog too, the cats would curl up in his legs when he was asleep, and sleep with him. He never got on the furniture though.

Our senior dog and his sibling who is no longer with us, ever got on the furniture either, Myrl Jeffcoat. So, this is definitely 'odd' to the kitties!
It is a monkey see-monkey do type of behavior, Debe and the pup wants to be included in the cat world!
