Dawn in the Gulf of Mexico

One of the most interesting things we've done is at "Soo Locks"  at Sioux St. Marie ,that connect Lake Superior to Lake Huron. It was fascinating watching the tankers go through the locks in a covered viewing area.

You should be able to see the changing elevation of the locks..it is quite intriguing! You should enjoy the excursion through the rain forest in Costa Rica..watch out for the Howler monkeys!! they are so fun to see and hear!

Hi Ed Silva - How fun!  

When we took a Panama Canal cruise,  our ship didn't go through the locks but we were able to do an excursion on a smaller boat that started in the Pacific and went through the locks back to the ship.  It was a lot of fun.
