Starting today Thursday July 3, 2008 Saint Simons Island on the coast of Georgia is kicking off 4 days of fun and exciting activities for the whole family with the annual Sunshine Festival. There will be arts, crafts, food, fun, excitement and a display by the Georgia National Guard. The celebration will take place in the Village and Pier area of Saint Simons Island. The fireworks display will be Friday night July 4, 2008 at around 9pm from the pier on Saint Simons Island. There will all also be fireworks displays in Brunswick on the waterfront and on Jekyll Island on Friday July 4, 2008. Bring the whole family and enjoy a weekend of fun and celebrate our country's birthday!
