The Waste Management Phoenix Open, played at the Scottsdale Tournament Players Club (TPC Scottsdale), is one of the most popular golf tournaments in the world. Over 750,000 fans are expected to attend this year! It has a rich history that spans over 80 years, dating back to 1932 when it was first held as the Arizona Open. The 80+ year history makes the WM Phoenix Open one of the oldest golf tournaments on the PGA tour. WMPO has earned the title as the most well attended golf tournament.
