Agents - do you like to sell homes and land in your own neighborhood? It makes it easy for travel and of course you know the area well. I think we all have an advantage when we sell properties closer to "home". We understand the weather and climate. We know some of the history of the area, like who the neighbors are and what's happening nearby.
This new listing in Haiku Maui is really close to where I live, and I walk by it when I do the neighborhood "loop" walk - a 2 mile country road that meanders through the jungle. It's not my listing, but I'd love to find a buyer who'll be my future neighbor!
