It's Valentines Day. Hearts to the left of me, hearts to the right of me, into the breach we go!
Blogging covers an entire spectrum.
Rote blogging, Joe Friday stuff. 47 variations of the same long tail theme, change the location and fill in the blanks. X location with X number of Bedrooms. They CAN be bread and butter lead generation machines if you pick the right long tail, but they're about as exciting to write as watching paint dry, amirite? But there's certainly a place for them, and maybe lots of them! It's a numbers game, lots of pages with solid content up the potential for getting found.
Other days, the date with the keyboard is not mechanical. The topic involves emotions!! (dirty word to an engineer? Let's ask Spock!). A lot of real estate is an emotionally driven activity. Buyers LOVE the house they just saw. Sellers LOVE the home they're leaving, but as hard as it is to leave, it's time for that major Life change. Bittersweet, but time to go.
Can you convert those feelings into words that engage? Grab people's attention and get them to stick with you until the end of the post? Maybe leave a comment? Contact you?
Get them to find some common ground? What, you have Chihuahuas too?? And cats?? (you never know what portion of what you type may be the bridge to connect).
Put some heart in it, at least occasionally, so people know it's not all some AI generated content.
A little glimpse behind the curtain, what drives you to help people buy and sell homes?
More than a little glimpse here, when you have as many furry ones as we take care of, you have to sell more than a few houses to keep them in kibble and medical care and keeps their little tails wagging.
We blog to build an internet presence, a means to an end. Maybe your end is different than mine, but we all have something that causes us to put our hearts in it!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Until next Tuesday, just Ask An Ambassador if you need help!

Why the listing remarks can be so important, can you grab their attention, get them to start falling in love before they walk through the door?
