A viral social media video of Ibanez, in which he shared his struggles to find work and joked about his cleaning skills, caught the attention of Tim Brown, the fourth-generation owner of Brown Brother's Automotive in Mesa.
Brown offered Ibanez a job as a car salesman, which he accepted. The heartwarming video has raised over $100,000 for Ibanez, which he says could solve his life for a year, but he would trade it all for the opportunity Brown has given him.
Despite facing multiple challenges, including blindness, his mother's burn, his wife's cancer, and being hit by a car, Ibanez's positive attitude and sense of humor have made him the most qualified candidate for the job.
