Years ago it was in the contract that sellers would provide official termite inspection and clear letter, now it's not there and a lot of buyers don't ask for it.

Bill Salvatore - East Valley - thank you for this great re-post blog! That Inspector described the issue and what to look for clearly. I liked that very much. When homes are built close together, I can understand why home owners might not notice. Or if the owners are short, they may never see what the Inspector discovers from higher elevations. At first glance, I thought he was going to say there was a problem with the roof and/or gutters with rain getting in between. And it could be, that is also an issue but if the focus is on insects because he is a Pest Inspector, I'm sure through his training he will elaborate further directly to the owner and/or the buyer.
