More About Me - Patricia Feager - What About You?

By
Real Estate Agent with DFW FINE PROPERTIES 0506509

My imagination has always lured me to nature where reflection comes naturally. Water in a small pond is attractive splashing against the rocks in the sun. When I look deeply, I see and feel life and it makes me happy. Can you see me with the smile on my face? How can I make you happy?

Meeting new buyers and sellers makes me cheerful. Everyone has dreams and I would love to help others achieve their happiness by acquiring a home. People search for the perfect home. What is home? Home is where there is love.

What do people really need? Is it clean water to bathe and brush your teeth? Sparkling water to make a good cup of coffee and a pitcher of fresh lemonade? Or perhaps could it be a bright kitchen where the sun shines on the breakfast table with the smell of bacon and eggs or whatever jump starts your day with a good first meal of the day?

Do you want to live where you feel nourished and relaxed? Perhaps have at least 15 minutes for yoga and meditation where you get your body and mind energized? Or are you in need of living with friends in a community. Maybe live alone, in peace and quiet? Or to have the privilege of raising a family to watch them grow and mark the walls when they grow. Do you want to explore flowers, butterflies, a pond to feed the ducks, or a playground for children to make new friends?

Owning a home is a good place to cultivate the quality of life that makes you happy. If I can assist you in your dreams for home ownership in Flower Mound or the many suburbs in DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth), please do not hesitate to let me know.

Good morning Patricia,

What a lovely reflective post! What do people really need is a good question. It varies and its always good to hone in on the "Why and what" that makes people happy. It sure helps in understanding what triggers a "House Happy" buyer!

Dorie Dillard Austin TX - Reflection helps us to see things from a different perspective. Getting down to basics is a good place to start to help guide prospective buyers.

I appreciate your thoughtful comment. Thanks again.

Good morning, Patricia... a very unique and special Call to Action. I couldn't think of anyone else who would come up with this, except you.

Nina Hollander, Broker - I appreciate that you often understand me and recognize the point to practice "unique and special Call to Action."  Perhaps agents can better serve their clients, and clients better understand their agent, if they are mutually understood.

Thank you. When it comes to insights you have a gift.

Hello Patricia - I believe reflection is an important part of life.  What "works" for one may not work for another.  That's certainly true as we I look at life, daily and longer term, or even real estate.  I see differences in definitions and so much more.  It's not always obvious.  Learning and listening is a lifelong lesson.

Hello Michael Jacobs - it is fortunate indeed to understand what interests others have when the need for home is genuinely needed and understood clearly. Work skills work best when needs are met but how could you really know, unless you understand the relationship you have when working with different people.

Thanks for understanding.

Good morning Patricia. Reflection is a must do tsk of the creative mind. And, the creative mind you do possess. Enjoy your day.

Wayne Martin - During the past twenty years in this business, I find the MLS Property Description isn't the most important thing people want and often what's listed in the Property Description has nothing to do what Buyers really want. What it all boils down to, is to be understood and for agents to find out what they really want and what truly matters or interests them.

Your comment touched my heart. Thank you.

Your words send the mind in all manner of directions all good.  So many people buy a house, but some miss the details that make it a home.

Ed Silva - It's the details that really make a difference. Buyer's remorse can easily be traced to not getting needs met.

Thank  you. Your comments were very thoughtful and helpful.

this is a very thoughtful post and maybe an approach that we should take more often with buyers.. encourage them to think about what they really want/need to be truly fulfilled by their new home

Lise Howe - I thought of it myself because that's how my brain works. I'm glad you thought it was useful. I have been studying contracts and the MLS to see what I could do different without upsetting the applecarts.

I have a reverent love of nature.  Early in the morning, several times a week, I travel to my health club to swim.  Afterward, on the way home, I make a small detour to The American River Parkway.  On the parkway, is the river, deer, rabbits, and all kinds of wildlife.  My world is set right again with the swims and these visits with nature.

Myrl Jeffcoat - When it comes to nature, I come alive! We have that in common. I like how you established a morning ritual with enthusiam, self-discipline, and passion from the heart. Being on the path where there is "the river, deer, rabbits, and all kinds of wildlife," is exactly where I woud want to be.

Patricia many people confuse wants with needs, and the two are very different.

George Souto - yes. There is confusion between wants and needs. I really enjoy listening to people and getting to know them and what they really want. There are many people starving for someone to listen.

Your reflections speak loud and clear Patricia. Many times, homebuyers do not know what they want and we have to really listen to what they are saying. Communication is at the top of the list!
