Speechless Sundays - Mistaken Cat-identity?

Could this be a case of mistaken identity or simply a puppy who is a product of her environment?! 

Being raised in a home with one very senior (now 16-½) dog (Barney) and 3 very lively cats, Madelaine Mae tends to spend more time with her cat siblings than her k-9 sibling. She chases them constantly but, don't feel badly for them; Maddy is also quite often the hunted in these household chases!

Today, I spotted Maddy & Gracie on the sofa back playing. I went to grab my camera and by the time I returned, both were settling in for a nap. Life is good for Miss Madelaine!

That is so true, Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist! We've always had both so, one typically precedes the other and the new one think he/she is whatever her predecessor is!! Charlotte thought she was a dog - greeting guests at the front door like our sweet Snoopy did. Barney thought he was a cat because Charlotte raised him...it's just so sweet!

Hi Debe... both Mr Marlow and Bingo nap on my bed. But as Bingo is not allowed on any other furniture, that's the only place you'll see them napping together.

Oh that’s how every other dog we’ve ever had was too, Nina Hollander, Broker. Maddy has a mind of her own and I think needs to feel larger than life since she’s so tiny!!

Funny but, ours are typically medium-sized dogs and still, we don't allow them on the furniture either, Nina Hollander, Broker. Somehow this little bitty dog has caused us to let down our guard and make exceptions! LOL

Oh, they were all together with us but not on the couch, Brian England. we surely did enjoy the selections…especially that our arch rival didn’t even make the tourney!!  #1 to ZERO in one season and no injuries are to blame!! Only game play…or lack thereof!
