I did NOT know any of those facts Nina Hollander, Broker other than generally. I heard on the local radio today that they will be watching for drunk drivers with extra eyes on the road. I thought they said it was the 2nd biggest drinking day next to New Years but I must not have heard that correctly or they were using some other stats. I will be home... no green beer for Bob.

Hi Nina- I did not know these stats about St Patrick's Day. Larry has some Irish in him, and in fact, one of father's favorite places to visit was Ireland. I'm not a beer drinker but I do love a St Patrick's Day parade with bag pipes. I'll be making corned beef and cabbage!

We always celebrated my grandmother's name day as she was Russian Orthodox, but being brought up Lutheran, I don't celebrate mine on January 27th. I don't ever even think of it.
