It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Spring in Prospect CT

St Patrick's Day and it's festivities are over and as it is mid-March, and the clocks have made their move, all signs are pointing to spring.

There is still some snow on the ground, but in some areas, it's getting close.

The crocus sprouted and I almost missed them.

The daffodils have started their growth and as happens they will be thicker and more plentiful than last year. They self propagate.

Along our rock garden, the daffodils are also sprouting and as they get older they will eventually cover the entire area.

And everyone knows that the foremost sign of spring are the robins, and I had this proud bird, puff out its breast for me to appreciate.

The best sign of spring for me will be the pins being put back onto the greens. I can hardly wait.

Another sig of spring are buyers looking for homes as well as sellers getting their homes ready to sell.

For sellers it is essential to have a sales price on your home consistent with the most recent activity. We offer free market evaluations to assist you in your sale.

If you would like information on homes for sale in Prospect CT, please call me at 203-206-0754 or send me an email. I would be happy to assist you or to discuss homes on the market in Prospect, CT.

Nice tie in of a call to action with signs of spring arriving, Ed. Your spring is about a month behind ours, I would say.

Ed, while we don't quite have the blooms yet, the valley floor snow is receding quickly.  I almost stated excellent but then remembered the leaves and needles I am already seeing.  Yikes!  lol

We have a sunny day in Maryland for the first day of spring. It is a bit chilly, at 40 degrees, as I post this comment.

Have an outstanding week.

Hi Ed:

I always enjoyed seeing the first signs of spring in New England. The robins were a favorite reminder of this time of year. The daffodils were also a favorite. Brewster MA on Cape Cod had a daffodil festival every spring with thousands of blooms - always fun to drive through the area to see them.

I love that robins seem to flock so that you wake up one morning and there are twenty robins on your lawn aerating it for you as they dig for worms!

We are lagging behind with our spring arrival here in Sacramento.  It's likely do to the epic winter we continue to experience.  We had a beautiful weekend, but another storm is arriving today.
