Joan Cox hi Joan... it never got over 52 degrees here today and more of the same tomorrow. We've enjoyed a really early spring earlier this month and in February. Hopefully, it will return soon.

Hello Nina - we have had a wet winter in SoCal (at least a bit wetter than usual).  The first day of the new season has not been wet (so far) but it hasn't exactly been sunshine and flowers - well, not until Hollywood does it "magic".  Me?  I am waiting for reality - it will be here someday - soon, I hope.  It's okay - I know there are places with much bigger concerns.

Hi Nina- I'm glad someone reminded me that today was the first day of spring!!! I've been cold for 3 days!!! We woke up to temps in the 40s which I know is warm compared to other areas. I do love spring and enjoy seeing flowers popping out all over. We have more eggs in our nest boxes and we saw several robins the other day!!!

Happy First Day of Spring!  Over the last few years, our community landscaper has been placing daffodil bulbs all over the community.  They are the first sign of spring and it is awesome to see them sprout up and bloom.
