The Spring 2023 San Diego Restaurant Week
Starts March 26
Food lovers will be thrilled San Diego Restaurant Week is March 26th through April 2nd. This is the 1st of 2 events for 2023 with 8 days of dining.
San Diegans can enjoy a wide range of food offerings at terrific prices at dozens of restaurants all over San Diego! How can a dedicated food lover go wrong with so many options?!
So...how will YOU decide where to dine?
San Diego Restaurant Week is all about reduced prices on fixed price multi-course menus at lunch, brunch and dinner. You may even find a drink included as a course. Not all restaurants offer all 3 meals, some are just dinner.
Restaurants are found across a wide geography, including downtown, inland/East County, and north along the coast to Carlsbad and Oceanside.
There are 3 in my hometown of Carlsbad – 20/Twenty Grill, Ponto Lago at the Park Hyatt Aviara, and Draft Republic.
Fixed prices range by meal, starting at $20, and vary by restaurant. Check out the individual restaurant listings to see what’s offered and the pricing.
2023 San Diego Restaurant week is a marvelous way to check out places where you might not normally eat. Consider it an opportunity to expand your culinary horizons and visit restaurants you’ve heard about but haven’t tried.
Restaurants may offer outdoor dining, curbside pick-up/take-out, and deliveries. Don’t assume but check first, depending on your preferences, for pricing and availability. And be sure to check for hours and meals offered…it may only be dinner!
No doubt you will find plenty of dining options near your home. Or travel a bit and explore new places. Be adventurous in your dining instead of doing the same old thing!
It’s easy to participate in San Diego Restaurant Week. You don’t have to buy tickets or passes. Simply visit restaurants that intrigue you and take advantage of great dining and great prices.
Reservations are not required but always make sense, especially for dinner and on the weekend. Keep in mind this is a popular event. It’s better to be prepared with a reservation than waiting in line or find out there is no room.
If you’re not keen on the Restaurant Week options you can also order from the regular restaurant menu.
Some restaurants offer Open Table reservations directly from the San Diego Restaurant Week website, or from their own business websites.
It’s time to plan lunch or dinner out this coming San Diego Restaurant Week, perhaps more than once. All you need is your wallet and a good appetite!
Bon Appetit/Buon Appetito!!
