Congratulations George Souto!
Until the Lender gets all the necessary documentation, which really is not complicated or hard to get, the real estate agent sits on pins and needles and waits.
Congratulations to George Souto for fully completing the March to a Solution|ActiveRain March 2023 Challenge. I hereby present him with two virtual hands full of gold! George! You deserve it!
It is always good to hear from a Mortgage Lender. Here on ActiveRain, we are very fortunate to have George Souto. A good person to build a business relationship with in the real estate industry is a trustworthy Mortgage Lender, like George. Because when you do, you have a business friend for life.
There is always a reason why buyers can't get a loan approved and George has heard it all. I have a sneaky feeling, not many Lenders go home to their significant other and upon opening the door, the spouse says, how was your day honey?
Until the Lender gets all the necessary documentation, which really is not complicated or hard to get, the real estate agent sits on pins and needles and waits. Confidentiality in this business is a sacred vow. Until the Lender has everything needed to process the loan, someone like George can't discuss anything and must stay loyal to the potential buyer. But why is it so hard to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth when applying for a mortgage loan? No Lender wants to hear a squirmin' sermon about excuses.
Sometimes, the answer is a real doozy! When that happens, it could be just a matter of time to march you into trouble! Did you know that the word doozy was not originally a negative word? It was a beautiful word created by the brothers Fred and August Duesenberg in 1920 for the first American car to win a Grand Prix! The word doozy was used positively between 1921 through 1937. Why do I mention this? Because as time goes by, things can go flat. And in the mortgage industry, when a prospective buyer does not listen, delays getting documentation to the Lender, or makes stupid excuses, more than likely, the deal is off. The buyer does not get the Mortgage Loan approved, and then there is a domino effect to realtors, Brokers, sellers, and everyone else involved in the closing that just may not happen.
Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist and I are proud to shower George Souto with virtual gold coins to use anyway he wants! Thanks George, at least on ActiveRain, we can always rely on you!
