There is light

There is always a light that shines somewhere. We have to have that hope. Loveand light and all the best.

Just to add, this is beautiful poetry! I like it a lot and I might want to re-post it if you would allow it

Or just wait and let your eyes adjust to the dark.  Amazing how much light still can shine through.

Wayne Martin - at some point in our life, childhood, teenage years, adult, or seniors we must learn to stand on our own two feet and not be afraid of the shadows in the world. I find the best way is to shut off the TV and step away from the Internet. Distance ourselves from people when our gut signals the red flag helps too.

This post reminded me of the saying there is light at the end of the tunnel and let's hope it is not a train coming our way:)Endre

Hello Wayne - while reading your post I was aware of the possibility of the positive route it was taking but like Endre Barath, Jr. pointed out in his comment, I felt a train vibe as well.  

Excellent post, Wayne Martin We have been created with free will, and as such we are free to make our own choices. 

Was taught from an early age that bad things happen in the dark of night, Wayne and nothing good comes after midnight out on the streets. I sill believe!

You may have to move a bit to find it fumbling in the dark but is is patiently waiting for you.

Sometimes it is so dark that you are afraid to move - but you are right - keep moving and looking for the light

Hi Wayne - had to sign on and say as we age, the shadows become more prominent BUT we are wiser about how to handle them and trust that the light becomes brighter!

True shadows as we grow older are less scary.  However as a child, we lack the ability to recognize that shadows are just that shadows.
