Congratulations to Doug Dawes for fully completing the March to a Solution|ActiveRain March 2023 Challenge! Please accept our virtual handful of gold for your achievement! After what you lived through in your career in an Attorney State, you deserve the virtual gold and maybe a keg of beer, a barrel of wine, or whatever libations makes you relax and be thankful you got through those crazy scenarios! You had your share of problematic situations and you learned a lot too. How you got through those three stories you entered for the March 2023 Challenge is beyond me. I have a feeling, this was very therapeutic too.
Thank you, Doug for sharing! It's little wonder we continue to have trouble communicating with one another. To quote Wayne Martin, some people are really "Screwed up!"
Without the F-Bomb, cussing up a storm by firing off abusive rhetoric, slamming the table at the end of closing and walking out the door, or discovering fraud, is it any wonder why there wouldn't be mental problems in our society and more people on drugs? I can't help but wonder, was it easier for you to serve in the Military?
Perhaps what we need is to pass a multitude of tests before going into any professional field before getting licensed to learn:
- Emotional intelligence
- How to think straight
- Bite your tongue and swallow your pride
- Critical reasoning
- Watch your words
- Figure it out using problem solving
- Read contracts and leave no blanks
- How to stay calm while the rest go crazy
Doug, I am now convinced more than ever, this was the easiest challenge for you to date on ActiveRain compared to what you've lived through and survived! If I were moving to Georgetown, Massachusetts, I would want YOU!
