This Week…Spring’s Renewal Everywhere We Look

 

On our walk this week, Larry noticed that he could see all of the trees filling out with leaves.  That’s not all, we saw buds and some blossoms as well.

We currently have 3 bird boxes with babies ready to fledge or eggs ready to hatch. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal have not signed on the dotted line on the nest outside my office window but there is a partial nest there!!

Hello Kathy - this week's arrival of Spring almost feels like April in SoCal as rain showers and all sorts of weather mischief have been present.  What might be forecast next Friday?

Kathy, nice to hear you are seeing so much blossoming for spring.  When I was in TX, loved seeing grass, flowers and leaves.   All I have in Denver is my chives are popping up.

Kathy even though it is still on the colder side, we are also beginning to see signs of Spring.  The daffodils and crocuses are blooming, and the trees have buds.  So we will be seeing beautiful colors very soon.

The cherry blossoms in bloom in our area and many visitors are in DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Sunday is expected to be a perfect day for viewing the blossoms.

After seeing your images, there is hope that spring will be here soon (for Sedona). haha!

We have the birds, quail are calling but other than our daffodils, none of the bushes or trees are getting leaves yet at my house.

Everyone is anxious for Spring here, but no real sign of it yet. I guess the longer we have to wait, the sweeter it will be when it does arrive.
