SPRING 2023 FUN IN CHARLOTTE

CHARLOTTE SHOUT! FESTIVAL: March 31 - April 16
Charlotte SHOUT! is the Queen City's annual multi-week festival of art, food, music and more. You'll enjoy performances and installations featuring local and international artists, classes, and tours. As we like to say in Charlotte: "Get Ready To Shout!" SOUTH END WINE & HOPS FESTIVAL: April 1
Come out to the 9th Annual South End Wine & Hops Festival on Saturday, April 1 featuring wine, cider, and brews all paired with live music from local bands. There will also be local food trucks and pop-up shops to enjoy. This popular festival has been named Charlotte's Best Festival in 2020 and 2021, as well as Charlotte's Best Wine Event in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. The festival takes place at Lenny Boy Brewing at 3000 South Tryon Street.
BALLANTYNE VILLAGE SPRING POP-UP MARKET: April 15
Enjoy shopping at 30+ local crafts vendors, live music, and outdoor bar at Ballantyne Village's first pop-up market of the season on Saturday afternoon, April 14 from Noon till 4:00 PM. For more information about the Spring Pop-Up Market in Ballantyne Village, click here.
BLAKENEY TOWN CENTER SPRING FLING: April 1
Celebrate Spring's arrival at Blakeney Town Center's Spring Fling on Saturday, April 1st from 1:00 PM till 4:00 PM. Spring Fling will feature fun activities for the whole family, including photos with the Easter Bunny, balloon artistry, face painting, music, games, and more! CHARLOTTE StrEATs FESTIVAL: April 16
Celebrate the Queen City's culinary scene at the Charlotte StrEATs Festival, featuring an appearance from world-renowned chef, Alex Guarnashelli! Chef Alex will be doing a cooking demonstration and emceeing the Neighborhood Cook-off curated by The Plaid Penguin! These battles will pit chefs head-to-head in a cook-off to win the title of StrEATs Neighborhood Champion. You'll also be able to at the artisan market, featuring some of the city’s top culinary vendors and enjoy cooking demonstrations. VINTAGE CHARLOTTE (VTGCLT)SPRING MARKET: April 15
Charlotte's Vintage Spring Market returns on Saturday, April 15th at 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM. It will feature 80+ vintage and handmade vendors. The event will take place in the Ford Building at Camp North End, located at 300 Camp Road in Charlotte. For more information about VTGCLT, click here.
THE CHARLOTTE FAIR: Until April 2nd
The 14th annual Charlotte Fair is back, bigger than ever. Attractions include 40+ thrill rides from Dreamland Amusements, dog shows, Lady Houdini, an animal petting zoon. The Fair takes place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, located at 6558 Bruton Smith Boulevard in Concord. Parking on-site is available for $5 (cash only). 2023 CHARLOTTE BREW FEST: April 1
Charlotte Brew Fest is the Queen City's signature beer festival. From 1:00 PM till 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 1st, you'll be able to enjoy unlimited sampling of beer made by 25+ national, regional, and local craft breweries. You'll pick from a selection of lager, IPA, ale, fruit beer, and cider, as well as enjoy live music, games, and more. Food trucks will also be present. This is a 21+ only event and will require identification. Brew Fest will take place at the South End Station Parking Lot at 1435 South Tryon Street.
