Congratulations Jan Green - Scottsdale, AZ for your three successfully completed entries for the March to a Solution|ActiveRain March 2023 Challenge. Your participation was greatly appreciated. Please enjoy your handful of gold - you deserve it!
Lessons we learn from some of the most difficult challenges we face are often the ones that are most valuable because of the impact it has on others when they really needed help the most. Too many people believe being in real estate is easy. The truth is, there are some occasions when our jobs look easy because we make it look easy. We are educated, skilled, and professionals. This business we are in, is by no means easy. It is not for the weak at heart.
Helping others to successfully get through a real estate transactions are often the toughest times of their lives. What many people don't know, is there are times when the deadlines or the situation is so critical, we go on automatic pilot. We are so strong we command and deliver crisis communication.
The phone is ringing, text messages are coming in, email are flooding our email box, clients are dying, children are crying, inspectors are coming, reports need to be written, repairs must get done, there are places to go, consulting to be done and the begging....
Please get a Power of Attorney. As you know Jan, you can show people the way to take care of legal matters, but you cannot force them, make them, or take them by the hand to make them act.
And then we have our own homes and business and everything else to take care of, maintenance, computer issues, consulting with an attorney, don't forget the water boiling on the stove, or the laundry that needs to get done, but wait... contracts and amendments need to be typed, delivered, signed and executed. And there are those what the heck moments when there are septic issues. Ugh! It never ends. But the truth is, it does end.
No matter what is going on, winter spring, summer or fall, we are passionately running physically and mentally, doing our best to keep others calm during whatever storm is coming. We weather the storms in business, no matter what comes, whether that means accepted, declined, rejected, executed, re-negotiate, terminate, or closed, the doors of our hearts don't close out the people who need us the most. We ARE the People's People!
Jan, Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist and I are thankful for your participation and the enormous effort it took to crank out these blog posts.
