Congratulations Debe Maxwell!

Real Estate Agent with DFW FINE PROPERTIES 0506509

Congratulations to Debe Maxwell, CRS for her participation and fully completing three great entries for the March to a Solution|ActiveRain March 2023 Challenge. She receives a Virtual Handful of Gold for her accomplishments!

During the course of Debe's career, she makes many decisions and consults with people from all walks of life about the real estate processes. Most of the time, people listen, but other times, surprises arise and people have their own agenda, such as when it comes to the agent's fee. If a Judge needs to be called in, so be it. With Debe's ethics and knowing contracts, she doesn't cower. She meets her challenge head on without fear. You know she has to be right when the Judge starts passing out her business cards!

When a Seller collaborates one can expect a smooth transaction. But every now and then, the real estate agent has to have a meeting of the minds to solve problems and when there isn't an amicable solution, Debe does not waste anyone's time. She has self-respect and is not afraid to do what is right, even if it means terminating an agreement.

Anyone who knows Debe Maxwell knows she is a no nonsense Broker, a woman driven to succeed. Her business is based off repeat business, referrals, relocation, and through her CRS Designation. Nationwide, other agents know who to call when they want to refer business to someone who is the best in the field of real estate.

Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist and I are grateful for this woman who is also very active on ActiveRain. It seems everywhere you look, everyone knows her name. To know her, is to love her.

I just knew Debe Maxwell, CRS would not disappoint.  She got started later in the race but finished with more than a photo finish.  She finished with another incredible story.

Thank you, Debe for all three stories that we can all learn from.

Oh, thank you so much, Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist! What is funny is that I had a hard time remembering the craziest of my experiences. I tend to think, "I'll never forget that one!" but, then only remember the positive ones! I had to ask Ray to remind me of two of them! LOL

Patricia, that was a good one Debe shared in her last entry.  First time I have seen a house not selling because of an owner addicted to soap operas.

George Souto - I never heard of anything that absurd either. No matter what the situation is, Debe Maxwell, CRS always finds a way to solve problems.

Oh, she was a piece of work, George Souto - let's just say she was a 'plastic' woman and leave it at that!! Her head just never seemed to be in the normal place!!

Hi Patricia!

Thank you so much for this honor - and for hosting last month's challenge. As I told Kathleen, I'm so prone to remember the positive, I had a very difficult time coming up with the 3 craziest stories I've had. Who knows, there may be crazier ones but, I must put them out of my mind when they are all said and done! HaHa! I actually had to ask Ray for help recalling two of them!

Hi Debe Maxwell, CRS

It is so good to hear from you. I am very thankful for the honors and permission to host the March 2023 Challenge with Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist. It was a good exercise for everyone who participated.

I am sorry if this challenge made you uncomfortable. I know you are a positive person and upbeat by nature. When I have to do something that drags me down, I must turn it around and decide how can I make this a positive experience for others that may be struggling, or think they are alone in tough situations. I really do think, many of the stories that came out really will be of value and educational to others. Afterall, we must stay out of legal trouble.

After reading some of the craziest stories, especially about septic systems, and fighting city hall to protect property rights, I began to realize, I didn't have as many tough closings or real estate stories as I might have thought. Also, I am more in awe with the members here on AR who dealt with some very serious and unusual situations. How they problem solved and found solutions are commendable.

I also have to change my mindset about getting outside of my comfort zone. They say, that's when you grow the most. Debe, I'm still growing (but not in height). LOL

FYI, I don't know how FEATURED posts work on the front page. I thought it was fixed. This post began two nights ago and I waited until after 2 a.m to get the 4/1 date. This morning, I received notification that it was randomly selected for a FEATURE, but it never came up on the front page. I don't know if they are still working on it or if it's fixed.

I mention this because I want to make sure those who participated saw the results. It was strange to run this challenge in March and not get feature posts on the front page. That was the reason why I felt compelled to help keep people motivated and started passing out the virtual gold to those who completed the challenge. Not one person complained. They all liked it. I hope you did not mind.
