Anything, Anywhere
And All At Once. . .
This post title is not-so-loosely inspired by the name of the 2022 movie Everything Everywhere All At Once. But this has nothing to do with that or any film. Although it won much acclaim and received many awards, I didn’t see it.
While the preview didn’t prompt a visit to the theater for me, its title was intriguing. Life can seem complicated and a bit messed-up.
While quotes can provide additional insight, confusion may still remain at times. Here are some words which may be familiar as well as others not as well-known. All kinds of things can seem to come together. And sometimes clarity makes an appearance as the chaos begins to clear:
If you’re not making mistakes,
you’re not doing anything.
John Wooden
Don’t grieve.
Anything you lose comes round in another form.
Rumi
Anyone who has never made a mistake
has never tried anything new.
Albert Einstein
If you are in a spaceship
that is traveling at the speed of light,
and you turn on the headlights,
does anything happen?
Steven Wright
I am convinced of this:
Good done anywhere is good done everywhere.
For a change,
start by speaking to people
rather than walking by them
like they’re stones that don’t matter.
As long as you’re breathing,
it’s never too late to do some good.
Maya Angelou
