Its been 5 years since my last blog post.
During that time, I became a caretaker, long and short distance, for a sister and two in-laws in succession.
During that time, the COVID pandemic arose, and has abated - somewhat. Today our office assistant returned to work after a rough spell with COVID acquired during a recent trip to California.
During that time, my second grandson was born, and his family relocated from KY (400 miles from me) to upstate NY (1000 miles from me) - but the good news is that their new farm is close to where I grew up, and just 15 minutes from my beloved cabin on Cossayuna Lake.
During that time, my beloved Cubs have NOT won another World Series, but the Braves were champs in 2021, and the Georgia Bulldogs are back to back national football champions. Side note: both my men's and women's march madness brackets this year were stunningly inept.
Some things have not changed.
Life in Georgia's Lake Country continues to be amazing! And the demand for my services has been strong. One thing the pandemic taught many of us - life can be short, embrace what makes you happy.
With so much "life" swirling about, I stayed focused on delivering amazing client service. Next year will likely mark 20 consecutive years as a top performer for my company and among local Realtors(r).
One of my goals in 2023 (besides improving my golf game) is to post more regularly on this site. Offering my market insights, local news, and discussions of what matters most when you are trying to follow your dreams - that's what you should expect to see in coming months.
Hello again!
Life is good in Madison, Georgia.
