Friday Flags In Prospect CT Rt 69 Roadway
There are 2 main roads that run through Prospect CT. The Waterbury Rd or Rt 69 and the Naugatuck Cheshire Rd or Rt 68.
Driving down Rt 68 one day this week, I saw our flags flying across the roadway from each other. One was in front of the town garage, and the other was in front of the VFW post.
The flags were at half-mast to honor the soldiers that died in the helicopter crash in Kentucky. While honoring the dead, they were still nice to see at full flutter.
