The other day I heard a news report about what the price of eggs is doing to the Easter egg business. I guess many people are replacing the dyed or painted Easter egg with the painted Easter potato.

Potato??

Yup, potato.

Well, that's crazy since everyone knows bunnies don't lay potatoes! Besides, potatoes have eyes and can hide better when they see you coming.😁

Eggs are around $5 or so per dozen, locally, so I went to Costco and found them for $5.99 for a 2 dozen package. Grabbed a couple.

We had a little fun with this post. I do pray each of you has a blessed Easter. I prefer Resurrection Sunday as that's what we celebrate, e.g. the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus, the Christ., the one and only Son of God who came to save the world, not judge it He offers eternal life in Heaven with Him as joint heirs.

He chose to die for us so we could choose to live for Him.

Crazy thinking about a potatoes instead of eggs! What ever works! The kids still dye eggs and will do so later today but we hide plastic eggs filled with candy, sticks and $$! I pray you have a blessed Easter!
