What you can do for your client...

By
Mortgage and Lending with Gateway Funding

It is no secret that it is becoming increasingly more difficult to qualify clients for mortgages. Whether you are a Realtor or a Loan Officer, the best thing you can do for your client is "explain" to your client what they need to do in order to qualify. First and foremost, clients need too be told how their credit history works in the mortgage process. The best thing your client can do is keep their debts down during the home shopping process. More often then not, clients are unaware of how their spending can affect them.

Another service that willl make the purchase transaction go more smoothly is to ask your client if they have reviewed their credit report for inaccurate imformation. If they have inaccurate negative information reported on their credit, they should contact the credit bureau's or creditors to have it removed which will in turn increase their credit score.
