We know it's Spring in North Dakota when the Snowbirds return. I look forward to when my Best Friend returns from Arizona but he is not the first snow bird I usually see. It's this fellow who, every spring, is calling for his mate from the downtown rooftops.
Due to the heaver than normal snow melt this year there are plenty of good spots for the geese to nest but every year this fellow likes to hang downtown and let us know he is back.

I love living where there is a real spring with the dogwood and redbud trees flowering and all the light shades of greenery on trees. It is so beautiful to see the rebirth of life after winter.

Yep, it is starting to get hot here so the snowbirds fly away, haha. It's easier to get around without the snowbirds clogging up the roads.

We are probably a month away from blooming trees and lilacs faye schubert but I sure am looking forward to it even though it may trigger some allergies.
I sure welcome him and his thousands of friends back Bill Salvatore - East Valley . It won't be long before we see the little ones all over town as well.
