Hello Paul - I don't immediately recall this quote or its author but the words are food for thought.   And for me, they can be something I can put into action on a regular basis.  

I agree with Wayne and Dorie. There doesn't seem to be a willingness to give others space to be their own person. In general there's a lot of judging and demanding going on (be the way I am and believe what I believe or else).

What a fabulous quote. One of the things I loved about when I walked The Camino de Santiago de Compostela was that people listened to each other and I mean really listened, not just to reply or interrupt. they sought to understand the other person and their point of view, it was very refreshing and this quote really captures that.
