Furry Friends Friday - on a Saturday!

 

Everyday is made to celebrate our wonderful furbabies! This week, I had every intention of using my blocked time to post this picture of our sweet Gracie but, work life prevented that! And, that's okay, I still have the picture, right?!

Gracie (and all of our furbabies, for that matter) always find comfort, whether it be odd places or odd positions. Gracie loves laying by the window in the kitchen, watching the geese and other waterfowl. Yesterday, someone was in her spot though - so, she took ownership of the chair next to it! Her position was definitely picture-worthy for a Furry Friends Friday!

Oh my gosh, faye schubert, I am so very sorry. We had to put our Barney dog down on the 5th! He was almost 17 and we had him since he was a wee puppy. I know your heartbreak right now.

the crazy places cats go in my house is why they never wore collars.  Once before I threw them all away on of my cats got into the closet and got on top of the pants inside the hangers.  I happened to see her leaving the spot and her collar got hung on a hanger.

After I cleaned up the blood (mine, not hers) I removed all the collars from my indoor cats.

OH MY GOSH, that is CRAZY Tammy Lankford,! Poor baby! That is precisely the reason I only buy break-away collars. Cats get into too much mischief and those things are lifesavers.

I've found ours around the house several times - mostly Jack's - he's the more active one!

Coincidentally, one of our friends was over this week and Gracie ran up to him, loved on him and then rolled over on her back, Endre Barath, Jr. I told him just that - that she trusts him! When they show you their bellys, it's total trust!

Oh, you know it's my favorite color too so, all of my girls have one shade of pink on their collars (and Maddie's harness is hot pink)!

LOL Nina Hollander, Broker, I'm sure he would love Jack's shade of blue colored collar - certainly not the pink shades!

We put the break-away collars on with a single (soft-toned) bell so that Ray doesn't roll over one of them! Maddie had louder jingle bells to help Ray navigate but, also to help alert the kitties that she's coming after them! She LOVES chasing the 'kiddos' as we call them. She is one active puppy!
