Beat the heat at Gilbert’s H2O Fest! This family-friendly water fest at Freestone Park features playful water obstacles, food trucks, music and more! 4 sessions will be held to ensure optimal slide time for each participant. Participants are encouraged to wear swim shoes, bathing suits or clothing that can get wet! To learn more about this event, click HERE.

At the pool where I swim my laps, Lise Howe the have water slides and diving boards. While I am swimming my laps I can see the kids jumping off the diving boards and I can tell they are having a lot of fun!

LOL, Brian! I don't mind showers or baths. I'm just not a fan of jumping into water... don't mind the occasional ocean dip (when the waves are big), but haven't been near an ocean in decades. I'm just like a cat... don't like getting wet. But now that I think about it, my dog doesn't like getting wet either. Must be a family thing. :)

Hmm, I didn't know that cats don't like water Nina Hollander, Broker but then again I am not much of a pet person at all, haha. So, if you happened to be at a pool party, you might dip your feet into the water to cool off while enjoying a nice glass of wine? I have been known to do that from time to time myself, haha.

Brian England hi Brian... I don't think I've ever been to a pool party... so I can't answer your question! Although cats don't like getting wet they are actually very good swimmers. I only ever had one cat that liked water... and Abyssinian. They are known to like water and swimming. Coco used to try and jump into the tub.

Thinking of all the people who are at the Gilbert's H2O Fest in the East Valley, Arizona today. They must be having one heck of a good time, Brian; sounds like so much fun for all. And I noticed Food Trucks and love to be out enjoying myself and close enough to a Food Truck. So many times I discover their interesting menus and selections.
